Ladies and Gentlemen

Raining outside – snow is melting – spring is happening.

A quiet week in the Town.

Two meetings on Wednesday April 1st. The first starts at 5:00 pm and deals with changes to our development charges (You may not speak). A public meeting on development charges will be scheduled for later on.

Then at 7:00 pm the regular PAC meeting (Speak at discretion of Chair). Much of the meeting will address issues covered in recent Public Meetings – rezoning for Bayport, the Pratt lands and a draft plan extension for Tiffin Pier. One interesting item is a plan to work with the County to redevelop the section of Highway 93 between Yonge St. and the Canadian Tire store.

And for those of you worried about taxes, our representatives to County will be discussing redistributing the municipal tax burden between the different tax classes – residential, commercial etc. This discussion will affect the taxes you pay. Contact your Councillor.
